Ugens Billeder - Great Valley & Helsingør Gymasium

Ugens Billeder - GVHS & HG

19 awesome exchange students from Great Valley High School arrived at Helsingør Gymnasium the 20th of February. Through the following ten days, they would see and experience some of Denmark's most beautiful trademarks with their own eyes. Here, one of the students, Kathleen, has agreed to let us share some of her beautiful pictures, that truly catches the beauty of Denmark.

All the following photos are credited to Kathleen McCarrick.

Kathleen, the pretty photographer

The house in which Kathleen's host family lives in Ålsgårde, and was her home for 10 days

The pub that (probably) all students on Helsingør Gymnasium knows - Københavneren!

One of the Americans, Kate, says hello to the more or less famous cheese-goat who lives in Stengade.

Boats in the harbor by Kulturværftet.

Gamle Færgestræde - here you can see how old some of the buildings in Helsingør actually are..

A dramatic atmosphere in the castle-yard of Kronborg

Though Denmark is awesome, Chloe seems to miss America.

Beautiful colors in Nyhavn

Nyhavn

Nyhavn

The famous little mermaid. Some of the Americans were surprised that the statue really lives up to her name (it's so small!)

Kathleen and her partner (that's me!) on her last evening here in Denmark.

It was definitely a great experience for everyone, and everyone in 2.U are excited to go to Malvern in Pennsylvania to visit their American friends! They're leaving Denmark the 12th of March. See you soon, America!
